AP Physics Exam Sample Problems and Tips
How can you get a 5 on the AP Physics exams, both B and C?
1) Take practice tests (see below for sample problems)
2) Learn from your mistakes.
The best way to learn from your mistakes and to understand the problems/equations/concepts at the highest level is to learn from a master. 1-on-1 tutoring will help you (or your son or daughter) ace the AP Physics exams. We have online Physics PhD tutors (not college kids trying to make a buck) who have a mastery of physics and years of teaching experience. Whether you need help with Electricity, Magnetism or Mechanics, we can help you learn the material. There are no short-cuts to learning, no fancy tricks, just good ol' fashioned working through problems with a good teacher who can explain and illustrate the concepts. Our online AP Physics tutoring happens inside a virtual classroom where the tutor and student chat (using VoIP) and using a virtual whiteboard, which allows the tutor to draw diagrams/equations in real-time on your computer screen. The calculus-based Physics C exam can be particular tough, but our tutors can draw the equations right there in front of you. These videos show more about How it Works and how you can schedule a session with one of our AP Physics tutors. They can help you work through the sample problems below, or you can email them your own problems that you have trouble with, and then discuss those during your live one-on-one session. We don't use Skype for tutoring, but have professional technology for a fully interactive experience--it's much better than skype. If you have further questions about us, or just want to learn more, feel free to send us an email here. Parents should know that we have all "A" ratings from Angie's List Parents. If you are an Angie's List member, go ahead and check for yourself! Search for "Tutor Hero" and you'll be able to read our great, independent reviews.
Many of our AP exam students tell us how much better we are at teaching the material compared to their high school teachers. Most AP Physics teachers do not have PhDs and do not have the time to work one-on-one with students to help them with their individual problems. Teachers tend to have too many students, and this can often slow them down in how fast they can progress through the material. One-on-One physics tutoring will help you progress at your own pace to maximize your learning as fast as possible. So go ahead and try the problems below, and if you have questions, let us know and we'll show you how to work through them.
Online tutoring can save you money if you can pass these difficult AP Exams and earn college credit. The more AP exams you pass, the sooner you can graduate and the less you'll have to pay in tuition and fees. It can be hard to prepare, but that's what we're here for. Good luck!
